1. Information we collect

When you register, subscribe, submit a tip, contact us, or apply to become a tipster, we collect information you provide directly, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and — for tipster applications — identity verification documents. We also collect basic usage analytics (pages visited, device type) via our analytics provider.

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate your account, process subscription payments, deliver tips and notifications, verify tipster identity before approving an application, respond to support requests, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Payments

Subscription payments are processed via Safaricom M-Pesa (Daraja API). We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full mobile money credentials — payment confirmation is handled directly between your device, Safaricom, and our payment processor.

4. Communications

We send account, tip, and billing notifications by email, and — where you've provided a phone number and it's relevant to your account (e.g. tipster or subscriber communications) — by SMS or WhatsApp via our messaging provider (Twilio).

5. Identity documents (tipster applications)

Documents submitted with a tipster application are stored securely and are only ever accessible to authorized TradeSport administrators for the purpose of verifying your application. They are never made publicly accessible.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember display preferences (such as light/dark mode). We do not use cookies for third-party advertising, and we've opted this site out of Chrome's Topics/interest-cohort advertising signals.

7. Data retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to what we're legally required to keep.
